Bl This standard establishes the way of drawing viscosity-temperature graphs, which are used to determine the viscosity of liquid petroleum products at any temperature, within a determined range of this. The desired viscosity is thus obtained from two known viscosities at different temperatures. These graphs also allow obtaining the temperature corresponding to a certain viscosity. B-2 Charts are used only in those temperature ranges in which petroleum products remain liquid. B-3 A suitable range is that between the boiling point and the cloud point. Little data can be obtained at temperatures above 150 C and it is also likely that in that range the graphs will not give results as accurate as for lower temperatures.
