1.1 The purpose of this Standard is to establish the test methods and conditions for measuring the parameters, in accordance with the requirements of class C, to determine the characteristics of the pump and the comparison of such characteristics with those guaranteed by the manufacturer. 1.2 In general, this Standard applies to testing any size pump with clean, cold water. 1.3 This Standard is independent of the structural details of the pump and the mechanical properties of its components.
