1.1 The purpose of this Standard is to establish the basic requirements, specifications and tests of series 1 thermal containers for general cargo, used for international trade and for transport by road, train and sea, including the exchange between these forms of transport. 1.2 This Standard applies to the types of containers indicated in Table 1.
