Scope

This European Standard specifies characteristics, chemical composition and metal yield of scrap which consists of aluminium turnings of one single wrought (EN 573-3) or cast (EN 1706) specified alloy. EXAMPLE Scalpings, millings, borings from plates, extruded profiles, castings, etc.
