This section specifies methods for measuring coupling power ratio (CPR) coefficients. When measuring multimode fiber attenuation and insertion loss according to GB/T 18311.4-2003, CPR is used to characterize the light source characteristics and standardize injection conditions. CPR coefficients can be measured at 850 nm and 1 300 am wavelengths.
