Scope

This standard applies to glass-reinforced thermoset resin (GRP) pipes. This article specifies the method for testing the leakage strength of glass-reinforced thermosetting resin mortar (FRPM) pipes and their joints using short-term internal pressure. This standard specifies two types of test methods, Method A and Method 8.
