Scope

This standard specifies the method for measuring the content of hydrochloric acid insolubles in rubber antioxidants and vulcanization accelerators by gravimetric method after dissolving samples with hydrochloric acid, washing, filtering and burning. This standard applies to the determination of the content of hydrochloric acid insolubles in solid rubber antioxidants and vulcanization accelerators, and also applies to the determination of hydrochloric acid insolubles in plastic antioxidants.
