- This standard specifies the oil change indicators for diesel engine oil and general-purpose gasoline/diesel engine oil used in diesel engines. This standard is applicable to CC (including SD/CC, SE/CC), CD (including SF/CD) quality grade diesel engine oil, gasoline engine/diesel engine general oil used in vehicle diesel engines, stationary diesel engines and marine diesel engines (excluding the use of heavy fuel-fueled diesel engine) quality monitoring during use, when one of the indicators of diesel engine oil and gasoline engine/diesel engine general oil in use reaches the oil change indicator, new oil should be replaced.
