- Scope
- This standard specifies LPG systems and LPG burning appliances permanently installed on small boats with a length of not more than 24 m, except for LPG systems used for gas propulsion engines or driving generators. This standard does not apply to appliances that directly carry gas tanks, such as portable independent camping stoves, portable gas lamps, etc. Note 1: This standard does not specify the technical requirements for liquefied petroleum gas tanks, which should follow the relevant national regulations. Note 2: New designs, materials and assembly methods can be considered to meet the requirements of this standard as long as they are recognized as equivalent by relevant agencies.
