- This standard specifies the test method for testing the resistance R value (Resistance Value) and expansion pressure of soil or grade ingredients used in subgrade, base and bottom layers in the laboratory. This test method can be used to test soil or grade ingredients whether or not they have been modified (mixed with stabilizing materials).
