- Scope
- 1.1 This standard specifies the test method for measuring the bearing capacity of the subgrade, base course or bottom layer material and compacting it in the laboratory. 1.2 When the material contains particles larger than 19 mm CNS 386 on the test sieve, the part passing through 19 mm should be taken for testing, while the ratio of the amount of material remaining between 4.75 mm and 75 mm remains unchanged. 1.3 This test method can measure the maximum strength of soil obtained in specified compaction tests.
