Scope

This standard applies to external or built-in automatic electric shock prevention devices installed on AC arc welding machines (hereinafter referred to as welding machines) and with rated input voltage not exceeding 220 V. This welding machine is mainly composed of a single-phase transformer with a frequency of 60 Hz.
