- This standard specifies a method for determining the particle size distribution of iron ore using a test sieve with a hole width of 36 μm or more. The particle size distribution is expressed by the mass and mass percentage of the lower part or the upper part of the selected test sieve. The purpose of this standard is to provide a basis for all iron ore tests, including particle size determination, and their use by both parties to their purchase and sale contracts.
