- Scope
- This standard establishes a consistent indoor test method for evaluating the thermal performance of solar domestic hot water systems under standard conditions. It is intended only for use in solar hot water systems specifically designed to heat potable water for domestic use. The test procedures described in this standard can be applied to systems with solar energy storage capacity less than or equal to 0.6 m3, including solar energy with solar irradiance simulator or thermal simulation (no irradiation) method.
