Scope

This standard specifies test methods and requirements for evaluating the fire resistance of wheelchair seat cushions and materials to cigarettes and matches. This material test only measures the fire resistance of cigarettes and matches, not the fire resistance of finished wheelchairs. They provide a guide to, but are not a guarantee of, the combustion behavior of the finished wheelchair.
