- This standard applies to seamless and seamed steel pipes (hereinafter referred to as steel pipes) of carbon steel and alloy steel (except stainless steel) for transporting combustible fluids. Note 1: The general requirements of this standard are in accordance with ISO 404. Its quality and testing requirements are higher than CNS 14402-1 [Oil and natural gas industry – Technical specifications for delivery of steel pipes for pipelines – Requirements for Grade A pipes].
