- 1.1 This standard specifies the method for determining the content of insoluble contaminants in medium distillate oil, and its unit is expressed in mg/kg. 1.2 This standard is applicable to the determination of liquid petroleum products with a dynamic viscosity not exceeding 8 mm2/s at a temperature of 20°C, or a dynamic viscosity not exceeding 5 mm2/s at a temperature of 40°C, such as CNS 1471 [Vehicle Diesel] or light quality of fuel. 1.3 This standard also applies to liquids with dynamic viscosities exceeding the above.
