- This standard applies to hot-dip 5% aluminum-zinc plating (hereinafter referred to as aluminum-zinc plating) on steel (1) and is used to improve the corrosion resistance of steel products. Note (1) Not applicable to continuous galvanized steel sheets and galvanized steel wires.
