- 1.1 Scope of application: This standard applies to AC arc welding machines (hereinafter referred to as welding machines) based on 60 Hz single-phase transformers. 1.2 Function: Under normal circumstances, the welding machine must be able to produce a stable arc and good welding results regardless of any current value within the secondary current adjustment range. 1.3 Usage environment: Unless there are special provisions, the welding machine should be able to operate normally when used under the following conditions:
