Scope

This standard applies to three-phase synchronous machines with a rated output of more than 1kVA and a rated frequency of 15Hz to 400Hz. This test method is not applicable to special synchronous motors such as permanent magnetic field motors and induction motors. When this test method is applied to general brushless motors, appropriate correspondence and special precautions should be taken.
