Scope

This part stipulates the classification principles of lubricants, industrial oils and related products (L category). It belongs to the first part of the GB 7631 series of standards. The category name of this type of product is represented by the English letter "L" as the prefix. In this classification, products are divided into 18 groups based on the principle of including as far as possible all applications of lubricants, industrial oils and related products. Detailed scores for each group are given in other parts of GB/T 7631. This category only applies to new products.
