Scope

The provisions of this part of GB 3836 apply to users. The content it contains is directly related to the inspection and maintenance of electrical installations used only in hazardous locations. It does not include general requirements for electrical equipment, nor does it include testing and maintenance of electrical equipment. Certification. This section does not include Class I equipment (for use in mines containing methane). This part is a supplement to the requirements of GB 16895.23-2005.
