- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, classification and grades, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, labels and packaging of coated sand for foundry. This standard applies to mold (core) coated sand produced with raw sand for casting (recycled sand) and phenolic resin for shell molds (core) as the main raw materials.
