Scope: This standard specifies the classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and storage of covering tapes for take-up rollers of looms. This standard is applicable to rubber, rubber plastic, plastic or other polymer materials covering the crawler tracks (hereinafter referred to as "coiling belts") of the curling roller of the holding and drawing-out mechanism of woven fabrics. It is also applicable to reels of looms, printing and dyeing machines, etc. The pressure roller and cloth guide roller of the take-out mechanism are covered with crawler tracks.
