This standard specifies the terms, definitions and symbols of gas pressure regulators (hereinafter referred to as pressure regulators) used in urban gas (artificial gas, natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas and liquefied petroleum gas-air mixture, the same below) transmission and distribution systems , classification and marking, structure and materials, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, labels, instructions for use, and packaging, transportation, and storage. This standard is applicable to pressure regulators that regulate pipeline gas back pressure with an inlet pressure not greater than 4.0MPa, an operating temperature range not exceeding -20 ℃ ~ 60 ℃ and not lower than the gas dew point temperature, and a nominal size not exceeding 300mm. This standard does not apply to pressure regulators and pressure regulators for bottled liquefied petroleum gas. All pressure values mentioned or not specified in this standard refer to gauge pressure values in MPa.
