Scope: This standard specifies the requirements for the design, acceptance, calibration and maintenance of aero turbojet turbofan engine ground test benches and aviation turboprop turboshaft engine ground test benches (hereinafter referred to as test benches). This standard applies to indoor, open-air and test benches for variable component force tests for new construction, reconstruction and repairs that affect engine performance tests.
