Scope

This standard specifies the method for evaluating and grading the degree of blistering of a coating film by comparing it with a grading sample based on standard illustrations. In the standard illustration, the size of the blisters is graded into grades 2, 3, 4, and 5, and the amount (density) of the blisters is graded into grades 2, 3, 4, and 5.
