Scope
This standard specifies the basic parameters of computed radiography systems (CR) to ensure satisfactory and reproducible results during non-destructive testing. This standard describes the evaluation of industrial computed radiography systems. Its purpose is to evaluate the imaging quality and the impact of scanners or IP systems on imaging quality, so as to ensure that the requirements of users are met and the long-term stability of detection can be maintained. This standard does not propose safety-related provisions. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to formulate appropriate safety and health implementation rules in accordance with the applicable regulations in advance, and to follow them during testing.
