JB/T 10847-2008 (English Version) PDF

Scope: This standard specifies the product classification and basic parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of dust explosion-proof plug-in devices (hereinafter referred to as plug-in devices). This standard applies to the design, manufacture and inspection of plug-in devices with a rated current not exceeding 125A. This standard does not apply to electrical equipment used in environments where flammable gases and combustible dust may appear simultaneously or separately. This standard does not apply to explosive dusts or pyrophoric ignition substances that do not require atmospheric oxygen to burn. This standard does not apply to electrical equipment used in coal mines where biogas and/or flammable gas dust may cause danger. This standard does not consider the hazards caused by flammable or toxic gases emitted by dust. When the equipment must comply with the requirements of other environmental conditions (such as other protection methods for waterproofing and anti-corrosion), such protection methods shall not adversely affect the integrity of the enclosure.
