Scope

This standard specifies a test method to determine the adhesion of coatings by burnishing. It applies to coatings of ductile metals such as cadmium, copper or silver with a hardness of less than 250 HV AND THICKNESS OF LESS THAN OR EQUAL TO 40 μm. It shall be applicable whenever referenced.
