Scope

This standard specifies technical requirements for water depth measurement system configuration, pre-measurement preparation, data collection, data processing, data inspection and acceptance, and data collection. This standard applies to coastal port channel water depth measurements using automatic water depth data collection systems. This standard does not include measurement technical requirements for multi-beam sounding equipment.
