Scope

This standard specifies the order content, size, shape, weight and allowable deviation, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marks and quality certificates of carbon structural steel cold-rolled thin steel plates and strips. This standard applies to carbon structural steel cold-rolled thin steel sheets and steel strips with a thickness not greater than 3 mm and a width not less than 600 mm (hereinafter referred to as steel plates and steel strips). A single cold-rolled steel plate can also be implemented by reference.
