Scope: This part of GB/T 3386 is applicable to electric and pneumatic analog drawing recorders working with standardized signals for process control (for industrial process control systems), including recorders for continuous marking and dotting, and multi-pen and multi-point recorders. Some tests may not be applicable to all recorders, and some types of recorders may require additional tests. This standard is intended to provide technical guidance for the inspection and routine testing of electric and pneumatic analog chart recorders, such as acceptance tests or tests after repairs. GB/T 3386.1 should be used for full performance test or recorder used under severe conditions (such as: high temperature). Whenever possible, the test should be carried out according to the provisions of GB/T 18271, and the test personnel must have and be familiar with this standard. Quantitative standards for acceptable performance should be determined through consultation between the manufacturer and the user. The test report shall indicate which tests were performed. The requirements of this section shall become effective after obtaining the agreement of the manufacturer and the user.
