Scope

Part 68 of The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Rules and Regulations (Ref Al 7) contains the minimum technical standards that Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) must meet in order to be directly connected to the telephone network. These rules specify those technical standards necessary to assure that CPE will not cause harm to the telephone network.
