Scope: This standard specifies the general requirements for clean production during the cigarette production process in the tobacco processing industry. This standard divides cleaner production standards into five categories, namely production process and equipment requirements, resource and energy utilization indicators, pollutant generation indicators (before terminal treatment), waste recycling indicators and environmental management requirements. This standard is applicable to the cleaner production audit, cleaner production potential and opportunity judgment, cleaner production performance assessment and cleaner production performance announcement system of cigarette manufacturing enterprises in the tobacco processing industry. It is also applicable to environmental management systems such as environmental impact assessment and pollution discharge license management.
