This standard applies to sorbitol liquid prepared from liquid glucose as raw material, hydrogenation reaction and refining under the action of a catalyst. This product is used as a humectant in the toothpaste industry. Sorbitol liquid is also called sorbitol (hereinafter referred to as sorbitol). In the toothpaste industry, two specifications of low crystalline and crystalline sorbitol are usually used. Both can be used. Among them, the low crystalline sorbitol content is lower and the total content of sorbitol is lower. The sugar content is high, and the frost resistance is relatively strong; the crystalline sorbitol content is high, the total sugar is low, and the frost resistance is relatively poor.
