- This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of comprehensive petroleum logging instruments (hereinafter referred to as instruments). This standard applies to the design, manufacture and inspection of comprehensive logging equipment for the collection, measurement, recording and data processing of various data such as geology, engineering, drilling fluids and gas measurements during onshore and offshore oil and gas drilling.
