This standard specifies the name and material requirements, design methods, production procedures, test methods, inspection rules, etc. of fully automatic ultrasonic testing test blocks (hereinafter referred to as test blocks) for butt girth welds of oil and gas steel pipelines. This standard is applicable to the design, production and inspection of test blocks used in fully automatic ultrasonic testing of butt ring welds of oil and gas steel pipelines. It can also be used as a reference for other types of materials such as alloy steel and aluminum alloys. This test block is suitable for sensitivity and gate adjustment, calibration and defect evaluation when using the zone scanning method for fully automatic ultrasonic testing.
