Scope
This standard specifies the method for determining the particle contamination level of phosphate ester resistant fuel oil, turbine oil, transformer oil and other auxiliary engine oil using an automatic particle counter and a microscope. This standard is suitable for measuring the particle contamination of oil products such as phosphate ester resistant fuel oil, turbine oil, transformer oil and other various auxiliary engine oils.
