This standard specifies security-related common inter-industry commands used for identity verification using biometric information in IC cards. This standard is also applicable as a carrier of pyometric reference data and as a device for performing biometric verification of individuals (in-card matching*). Specify the data structure and data usage method for using the card. However, person identification based on biometric information (1-to-N matching) is excluded.
