This standard specifies a test method to determine the number of days for drying shrinkage cracks to occur in concrete that has been externally restrained. Note: This standard applies to concrete with a compressive strength of 45 N/mm or less at 28 days of age when using ordinary aggregate and undergoing standard curing. However, when applying to other types of concrete, care must be taken when evaluating the number of days for cracks to occur.
