This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, labeling, marking, transportation and storage of young coconut. This standard applies to coconut products for fresh consumption that are produced from young coconut fruits, which are shaped or peeled and polished, and then processed for freshness.
