- This part of YC/T 235 specifies the general tolerances for linear and angular dimensions, shape and position tolerances of stamping parts made of flat material. This section applies to stamping parts made of flat material. The general tolerances specified in this section apply only to: a) The smooth punching area of stamping parts produced by punching (see Figure 1). b) Dimensions at the peak of the corrugated cutting surface of the cut stamping parts (see Figure 2).
