Scope

This part of GB/T 21063 stipulates the core metadata and its representation methods required to describe the characteristics of government information resources, and gives the definition and description rules of each core metadata. This part specifies 6 mandatory core metadata and 6 optional core metadata, which are used to describe the identification, content, management and other information of government information resources, and gives the expansion principles and methods of core metadata. This part applies to the cataloging, database building, release and query of the catalog of government information resources.
