Scope: This part of SN/T 1179 specifies the requirements, inspection and judgment for import and export power transformers. This section applies to the inspection of three-phase and single-phase power transformers (including autotransformers). There is no corresponding inspection for small and special transformers (such as: single-phase transformers with a rated capacity less than 1kVA and three-phase transformers with a rated capacity less than 5kVA; transformers; converter transformers; electric locomotive traction transformers; starting transformers; test transformers; welding transformers) When standard, please refer to this section.
