Scope

This procedure is applicable to the initial calibration, subsequent calibration and in-use inspection of DC resistance type (Smith) temperature measuring bridges (hereinafter referred to as temperature measuring bridges) of grades 0.01 to 0.05. This procedure does not apply to the calibration of digital temperature measuring bridges, DC comparator temperature measuring bridges and other special purpose temperature measuring bridges.
