Specifies the requirements for screened polyethylene (PE) insulated twisted pair control cables for voltages up to 0.6/1 kV, including a support wire for aerial cables, intended for use in control, supervisory, protection and instrumentation circuits. It includes cables commonly referred to as pilot cables but it does not apply to cables used solely for telecommunication purposes.
