Scope

This safety standard applies to equipment designed to be powered from a mains power supply, power supply, battery or remote power supply, and intended to receive, generate, record or play back audio, video and related signals. Specifies electrical preparatory equipment. It is also applicable to equipment designed to be used exclusively in combination with the equipment listed above.
