- This part of JB/T 8749 specifies the general requirements and experiments for inductive, contact, magnetic and other voltage regulators and voltage regulator-themed voltage stabilizers (voltage regulators are also called automatic voltage regulators). Various types of voltage regulators and voltage stabilizers (hereinafter referred to as voltage regulators unless otherwise specified) can formulate their own corresponding product standards on the basis of this section based on the characteristics and special requirements of their respective products. This section applies to voltage regulators with rated voltages of 10kV and below and rated frequency of 50Hz. For voltage regulators with rated voltages above 10kV or other frequencies and other types, please refer to the relevant provisions in this section.
