Scope

This International Standard specifies the standard reference conditions of temperature, pressure used for measurements and calculations carried out on natural gases, natural-gas substitutes The primary application is expected to be in international custody transfer, where the reductic of those physical attributes of a gas which describe both its quality and quantity will simplify trade and commerce.
